Nashville, TN - Day 1

We're headed south on the new patch of I-69 from our compound in Bloomington, Indiana to Nashville, Tennessee. Roads are wide open, and newly paved...and the fur-children have settled in for a quick four hour drive south.

Let's chat about I-69! It's GREAT if you're traveling from Bloomington to Evansville...but as of 2017 you need to remember two things before leaving either town....pack your food and water....and hit up the bathroom! There are STILL ZERO quick stopovers between the two towns...so prepare yourselves ahead of time!

The Swinger :)

We hit a bit of rain on the way, but we were sailing with sunny skies as we pulled in...and we have arrived at our destination...our 1995 RV is nestled in its latest bed at site H-11 @ the nearby Nashville KOA. We don't always choose a chain site...actually, we prefer Ma & Pa...but this had the amenities we were looking for...so we jumped ship for a long weekend trip. And with my first opinion of the place: the locals appear friendly, but scarce. Lots of RVs around...yet few peeps...which is OKAY with US! Raf and Gracie have claimed our patch of grass as their own, but Scott is having issues setting up our cable. If that is the worst of our worries for the day...we're golden.
