Nashville, TN - Day 2

In our lobby at the KOA

Woke up this morning not feeling so great...first thing that must be said: We are NOT fans of Cock of the Walk!! We paid a fortune for a meal that we left mostly untouched! The only nice thing to say about the place...our waiter did his best to put lipstick on a pig (I learned this saying while on the road yesterday...sad to be able to use it so soon)!

Downtown Shuttle

Moving on. We're taking our time getting up and about, but will be calling the shuttle soon...its conveniently named Downtown Shuttle. I think I can remember that one! They have pick ups every hour...and looks like this...

Downtown Shuttle is AWESOME! Pick up and drop offs were easy, and only $10 round trip per person. Highly recommend!

NOW, if you're in Nashville "ya'll kinda gotta" check out the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum. This one was nice to see, but I honestly didn't "ooh" and "aah" over it. Scott liked the guitars though...but it was pretty pricey at $25/each. www.countrymusichalloffame.org/visit/buy-tickets

The food at the Museum's restaurant Bajo Sexto Taco was definitely worth stopping in for a quick bite. Good ol' fashion bar food, decently priced, with outside seating. The adult drinks were WAY too expensive though...I was glad that I brought my water along (sneak bottles in your purse instead of tossing before going into the museum)...you're welcome :)

All in all, the rest of our day was spent in typical downtown Nashville fashion...drinking beer & meeting new friends.

Elvis even blew me away!!

We finished our night back at the KOA and even gave the Cock of the Walk ONE MORE CHANCE since neither of us wanted to cook. Second night was just the opposite...food was better, but the service was TERRIBLE. All in all...find somewhere else to eat!

Until tomorrow ya'll...
